Welcome, Visitors... Don't Be Shy! It's very easy to visit churches online without having to interact with anyone at all. We rejoice in the accessibility this brings for those unable to get to worship, or who are just shy about coming in person for the first time.

Remember, though, that the Christian life is meant to be lived in community. Don't watch from home without any interaction with us forever! If you like what you see, fill out this online version of our welcome card so that we can be in touch with you and get to know you - in whatever ways you feel comfortable interacting with us (online, over the phone, or in person).

​​8:00 a.m. - Holy Eucharist, Rite II (spoken)​

The 8:00 service is spoken, with no music. We meet in person in the sanctuary, but you can attend online via Zoom as well:

​​10:30 a.m. - Holy Eucharist, Rite II with music
At 10:30, we gather for a service of Holy Eucharist with music and hymn-singing. We gather outdoors on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month and indoors on the 2nd, 4th, and 5th Sundays. You can attend online via Zoom as well:

There are many ways that Parishioners can participate in services at St. John's​ - from singing in the choir to reading liturgy. Two other ways are by giving a "Living Epistle" or through a "Minute for Ministry."

Living Epistle

​A "Living Epistle" is a short talk given by a member of St. John's community during our worship services. After we hear the written epistles (letters) of Paul and the other apostles from the scriptures, we hear a "living" epistle, a "letter" from one of our fellow parishioners that testifies to God's action and presence in their life.

Minute for Ministry

A "Minute for Ministry" is a short talk given by a member of St. John's community during the offertory portion of our service that details how they use their gifts in God's service, either in the parish or the wider community. Below are links to examples of Minutes for Ministry at St. John's.
