Building and Grounds
Our beautiful new campus, designed by Warren Callister, consists of Phase One of three phases to be built. It includes the nave for worship, a cafe for coffee hours, forums, meetings and parish socials. Also, it has a cheerful nursery, office, library, and spaces for the altar guild and choir supplies.
A temporary office provides space for the Rector, bookkeeper and youth director.
The buildings are state-of-the-art with radiant heating, energy-efficient appliances, moveable partitions for multi-use, handicap accessibility, and ample parking.
The water-wise garden, designed by Michael Bellinger of Monterey, is sensitive to our ocean bluff site–many native and Mediterranean plants were selected and an underground cistern collects water to irrigate in the dry season.
It takes a lot of labor to keep our buildings functional and our grounds trimmed and weeded. We have volunteer workers inside and outside as well as seasonal volunteer work days in the fall and spring.
